Have you heard about the new watch Zepp E? It was presented only yesterday. Actually, Zepp is a new brand, and Zepp E is the first smartwatch of this company.
Many sources say that Zepp E is a new smartwatch from Huami. You should know about Huami because of the popular fitness bracelets Mi Band and Amazfit smartwatches.
However, I didn’t find any information about Huami or Xiaomi on Zepp official website. It is possible that Huami is not related to the new Zepp company.
Anyway, the Zepp E smartwatch is very similar to Amazfit GTS.
I want to compare these watches and find out which one is better to buy.
Design
Actually, Zepp E was released in two models. One of them has a round dial, while another comes with a square screen.
The model with a square display is almost the same as Amazfit GTS. It has the same screen diagonal – 1.65 inches, resolution – 348 by 442 pixels, an AMOLED panel.
The version with a round screen has 1.28-inch diagonal and 416 by 416 pixels resolution. The panel is also AMOLED.
Also, the two models have different strap colors and materials. The case is made of stainless steel and protected from water by 5ATM standard.

However, two versions of the Zepp E smartwatch have the same functions and battery.
The new watches have an optical heart rate sensor, blood oxygen monitor, stress measurement, PAI, and 11 sports modes.
Also, there are 4 watch faces pre-installed, but you can download more from the app on the smartphone.
By the way, the new smartwatch has its own application on mobile devices with the same name – Zepp App.
As for the battery, the new smartwatch has a capacity of 188mAh. The battery life on a single charge is about 7 days. In basic watch mode, the battery life is 15 days.
Price and buy
The price of the new Zepp E smartwatch starts at $200.
Now let’s go back to the comparison with Amazfit GTS. You know, I didn’t find any information about built-in GPS in Zepp E. It is possible that the new watch doesn’t have GPS. That would be a big failure.
The price of Amazfit GTS is about $140, but it has built-in GPS.
Also, the smartwatch from Amazfit has a bigger battery and about 14 days of battery life. It is two times more than Zepp E.
At the same time, Amazfit GTS has the same display, sports modes, heart rate sensor, and other functions as Zepp E.
In my opinion, it is better to buy Amazfit GTS or GTR, because they are cheaper than Zepp E, but have longer battery life and GPS.
