As you may know, I have a cat. She has already been in some of our previous articles. If you also have a pet, you know what it is like to have hair all over your home.

Regular visits to grooming service solves this problem, but it is quite expensive – about $50 for a small dog, and that’s not even including tips.

So, I use a FURminator, but it is also a long and not very convenient way. After using a FURminator, you still have a flying pet hair everywhere at home.

In the end, I decided to try a pet grooming vacuum kit from PalFur. It is designed for both cats and dogs.

You know, this is my first grooming kit, so I am very excited. Let’s try it, and start by unboxing.

Unboxing

So, on the box of the PalFur Grooming kit, we can see the image of the vacuum and five tools. There are also some recommendations for use on the side, such as using the machine with a filter inside, do not use this product to absorb water and never use water to clean the main unit, hose and electric trimmer. The last tip is very important.

When you open the box, you will see information about the two-year warranty. That’s very good.

Inside the box, we have a nice bag. I think it is meant for storing accessories.

Then, we have a user manual and a quick start guide.

When it comes to accessories, there is a hose, an electric clipper, and four guard combs for it, a grooming brush, 2-in-1 brush, deshedding tool, and hair remover.

You also need a power cable, because the vacuum doesn’t have a built-in battery.

Finally, the vacuum cleaner itself is in the box.

Design

Before we try the vacuum, let’s take a look at its design.

First, PalFur Grooming Vacuum is not very big. The dimensions are 290 x 260 x 125 mm. The weight is 2100 grams.

However, you don’t even need to carry the vacuum all the time because the dustbin is removable. You just need to press the unlock button on the top, and then remove a dustbin.

As I already said, the dustbin has a capacity of 2 Liters. That’s very good because you will not have to clean it often.

There is a release button on the front for quick cleaning of the dustbin.

The other control buttons at the top are power on/off and speed change.

One of the main features of the PalFur Grooming Vacuum is a HEPA outlet filter. It is blocking allergens, tiny bugs, and fine hairs inside.

There are also two more HEPA filters under the dustbin. I found in the user manual, that the inlet HEPA filters should be replaced every 3 months, while the outlet HEPA filter can last for 6 months. By the way, all the filters are washable.

The dustbin also has two sponge cushions that should be replaced every 3 months.

The grooming vacuum has a power cord storage compartment on the bottom. It is very convenient.

I forgot to tell you about a vacuum handle and a dustbin handle for easy carrying.

It looks like everything in this grooming vacuum has been thought out to the smallest detail.

By the way, the PalFur grooming vacuum stands on four rubberized feet, so it doesn’t slip on the surface. That’s very important when you’re dealing with pets.

OK, now, let’s take a look at the grooming tools.

Grooming Tools

First, we have an extended hose with a 32mm width and a 70-inch or 1.8 meters long. This is an important accessory because you cannot use other tools without hose.

The next one is a deshedding tool. It is similar to a furminator, and it is designed for removing loose hair and undercoat.

A grooming brush allows removing floating hair, old hair, and other debris from your pet’s coat.

You can also use an electric hair clipper with different protective combs to cut your pet’s hair.

Finally, the PalFur grooming vacuum cleaner has tools for cleaning furniture and floor. The hair remover can be used as a standalone cleaning tool, but I think it is more effective with a vacuum cleaner.

Using the 2-in-1 brush, you can remove hair around the edges and narrow gaps.

So, the PalFur is not only a grooming machine, but also a good vacuum cleaner for cleaning hair all over your home.

Grooming

Now let’s try grooming my cat. I have a very fearful cat, so no wonder she got scared when the vacuum cleaner turned on. However, when I put the machine some distance away, I managed to clean her. Fortunately, the PalFur grooming vacuum has a long hose.

I also cut my dog’s hair with an electric clipper.

Just a couple of minutes, and you can see how much hair is collected in the dustbin.

I also want to try this vacuum cleaner on furniture. I cleaned a few chairs and the couch. They look much better now.

Conclusion

So, I have been thinking about solving my cat’s hair problem at home for a long time, and it looks like this grooming vacuum cleaner is the perfect solution.

First, I have much less hair on my furniture now.

In addition, I don’t have to spend money and time on grooming services.

Of course, this vacuum cleaner is more effective than the usual brushes or FURminator.

In my opinion, the PalFur Grooming Vacuum is a must-have for any pet owner.
