As you may have already guessed, today we will talk about the new budget fitness watch from GOKOO company. Probably, you haven’t heard about this brand, just like me, before they contacted us and offered to do a review of this watch.
Okay, let’s take a close look at GOKOO T30. By the way, the watch costs $50 on Amazon.
I have received the watch in this box.
On the back, we can read the main specifications, such as 350mAh battery, Full Touch screen, and IP67 waterproof.
Inside the box, there is the watch itself, charging cable, and user manual.
As you can see, GOKOO T30 has a round dial. The case is made of plastic, but it has a nice coating.
On the right side, there are two physical buttons: return and power.
Charging contacts and heart rate sensors are on the back.
As for the strap, it is made of silicone, and it is removable. You can buy any other strap and use it with this watch.
The display has a diagonal of 1.3 inches. I don’t know the resolution, but the brightness is quite good.
You can see the time and other information on the screen in direct sunlight.
As you can see, the new watch from GOKOO has almost the same dial as Amazfit GTR, but the smartwatch from Amazfit comes with a 1.39-inch screen.
Amazfit GTR is also thinner.
On the other hand, GOKOO T30 is lighter – only 150 grams, because the case is made of plastic.
GOKOO T30 is a sport watch, so it is waterproof. It is protected from dust and water by the IP67 standard.
Now, let’s talk about the main functions of the watch.
Have you noticed that I do not call GOKOO T30 a smartwatch? This is because I don’t think it is a real smartwatch. It is a fitness watch.
GOKOO T30 has nine watch faces. If you want to change it, you have to swipe up and click on this icon. Some of them are very good. For example, this one. Here you can see the time, day of the week, distance, calories, steps, and heart rate.
Swipe left or right to see your daily activity, heart rate, blood pressure, and sleep monitor.
You can also swipe up to use the other functions, such as find phone, stopwatch, sports modes, settings menu, and power off.
Among the sports, modes are running, climbing, walking, riding, football, basketball, Ping-Pong, badminton, and swimming.
In the settings menu, you can change the screen brightness, bright screen time, and reset the watch.
Of course, GOKOO T30 has a new message and call notifications. However, you cannot take the call or answer the message on this watch.
To receive notifications on the watch, you need to connect them to the smartwatch. Let’s do this.
First, you need to download the app on the smartphone. It is called WearHealth.
The manufacturer recommends to scan QR code on the box, but you can also install the app through Google Play Store or App Store.
After you have opened the app, you need to register. Enter the email and password.
Then you have to enter your name, age, weight, height, and other information.
Only after that, you can use the application.
To connect the watch, click on Profile and choose “Add New Device”. Wait for a little and select T30. That’s all!
You know, I have already tested the Chinese watch with the same app. It is not new to me. Actually, it is very similar to companion apps of other budget fitness watches.
On the main screen, we can see the status of daily activity, sleep time, and heart rate.
In the settings, you can enable continuous heart rate, left the wrist brighten the screen, call remind, SMS remind, do not disturb mode, alarm clock settings, etc.
The functions are the same as other budget fitness watches.
The manufacturer promises long battery life for GOKOO T30, but it is about 4-6 days. I cannot say it is very long for the watch without built-in GPS.
The charging time is about 2 hours.
So, GOKOO T30 is another budget fitness watch. To be honest, I did not find anything interesting in this watch, except design. It looks really good.
However, the functions are very basic. There is no even music control and built-in GPS.
If you find this watch interesting for you, I will leave the links to buy it below.
