I was waiting for a new series of Teclast T60 this year, but the Chinese manufacturer decided to release a Pro version of the T50 series of tablets. Let’s hope that Teclast T60 will be released later this year.

The new Teclast tablet is already on sale on Aliexpress for $199. A set with a case will cost you $208, but I recommend you to buy a tablet with a case and an external keyboard.
The price is $217, which means only $18 for the case and keyboard. I think it is a good deal.
Design
You know, looking at the specs of Teclast T50, I see that it is still a good tablet, even though it was introduced almost two years ago.
However, the new Teclast T50 Pro tablet has several changes, including in the design.
It still has an 11-inch display, but it is lighter and thinner – 480 grams and 7.5mm. For comparison, the thickness of Teclast T50 is 9.7mm.
The body of the new tablet is made of metal.
We can also see a dual camera on the rear panel of Teclast T50 Pro. We will talk about it in more detail later.
The other features of the tablets are similar, including four speakers, different sensors, such as light sensor, proximity sensor and hall sensor, SIM and memory card slot.
Display
It looks like the display of Teclast T50 Pro hasn’t changed either.
It has a diagonal of 11 inches and 2K resolution, 2000 x 1200 pixels.
Performance
The main improvement in the new tablet is in the hardware. Teclast T50 Pro is equipped with a new chipset MediaTek Helio G99, as well as 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Moreover, you can expand the RAM by another 8GB, and you can use microSD memory card up to 1TB to expand the internal storage.
The Chinese manufacturer is positioning the Teclast T50 Pro as a gaming tablet, because it has 406 thousand points in AnTuTu, which is 60% more than the previous model, as well as a significant increase in gaming performance.
By the way, the new tablet runs on the latest Android 13 operating system.
Camera
Returning to the camera, Teclast T50 Pro has a 20MP main sensor and AI-based auxiliary camera on the rear panel. The front camera is 8MP.
I am not sure that the second sensor would make the camera of the new tablet much better, so I think there is not much change here.
Battery
However, Teclast T50 Pro has received a larger battery with a capacity of 8000mAh.
It also supports 18W fast charging. A bigger battery is always a good thing.
Conclusion
You know, I think the Chinese company was right to call the new tablet Teclast T50 Pro, not Teclast T60, because the changes are not very big. However, there are still some improvements, in particular, the processor.
